Historical buildings in Pakistan


Pakistan is home of ancient and historic landscapes that reflect the tradition and custom of people of past times. It attracts the tourists who love to explore the historic sites, archeologists and student who study the history subject. These prehistoric places found all over the Pakistan. Especially the city of Lahore is occupies of historic places for the reason that it is 2000 years old city. Numerous historical building construct by the mughals emperor, which describes the past leadership of Mughals. These fascinating and cultural buildings lure thousands of visitors every year. A few remarkable sites discussed as follow:



Lahore Fort:
For located in the northwest of walled city of Lahore. Lahore fort is trapezoidal composition and spread over 50 acres. The origin of fort is going far back as antiquity, the fort mud built by the hindu rulers in early. It was ruined by the Mongols in 1241 and then reconstruct by the Balban in 1267. Later it was again ruined by the army of Amir taimur and rebuilt by Sultan Mubarak in 1421. However, the present structure was rebuilt by the Mughal emperor during 1556 to 1605 and then upgraded by the coming subsequent emperor Mughals, Sikh and British monarch.  It is very famous fort among the visitors because it describes all the history of Mughals architectures. It have two huge gates lies in east and west side, western gate known as Alamgiri gate which was construct by the Aurangzeb in 1673 and currently used for main entrance. Eastern gate known as Masjidi gate, which was built by the Akbar emperor in 1666 and now it was permanently closed. This fort inscribed by UNESCO world heritage sites adjacent with the Shalimar garden in 1981. The famous sites are Sheesh Mahal, Noulakha Pavilion and Moti Masjid that are located inside the fort. Most of the people visit here to explore that building and I suggest you that take cheap flights to Pakistan and tour here and see that places. I am sure you will like to tour here.



Shalimar Garden:
Shalimar Garden located 8 kilometer distance from northeast of Lahore. Shah Jahan, Jahangir’s son and their successors built this garden on sculpt of his father (Kashmir Garden) in 1637.  Shalimar Garden corrals over 457 long and encloses two gardens. Each garden divided into its separate canal and bed flowers. This garden constructed on the concept of Char Bhagh. In 1981, it was included in UNESCO World Heritage site along the Lahore Fort. The meaning of Shalimar remains mystery. The General Fahad Khan nationalized Shalimar Garden in 1962. It was architect by the Persian court, Ali Mardan Khan. Shalimar Garden contains white marbles and red sandstone building emblematic in Shah Jahani style.
